Hailey Langland had quite the season in 2016--one that catapulted her to the spotlight at just 15 years of age. It truly started in 2015 when she was a surprise winner of the Mammoth Mountain stop of the U.S. Grand Prix, her first pro contest. She then started the 2016 season strong with third-place, podium finishes at both the Audi Quattro Winter Games and her debut Dew Tour appearance. From there she earned her first X Games invitation and surprised with a bronze-medal performance under the big lights at Aspen. The young gun from the beach town of San Clemente, CA also finished just off the podium in fourth at the U.S. Grand Prix and Nine Queens events. Langland had a quick come-up through the Revolution Tour, where she she took podiums at five of the seven competitions she entered between 2014 and 2015, including a win at Mammoth Mountain. With spins in all four directions, a unique inverted style and elite rail skills, Langland has a bright future ahead. Though she comes from the popular surf town of San Clemente, Langland now calls Mammoth Mountain her snowboard home turf. She trains there under coach Ben Wisner alongside U.S. Snowboarding teammates (and good friends) Chloe Kim and Maddie Mastro. FIRST TRACKS OFF SNOW
