KG, announced today that it has signed an agreement with the United States Ski & Snowboard Association (USSA) to officially make uvex ski goggles and helmets available to athletes on the elite and development teams.

uvex was the most popular goggle and helmet brand in the Sochi games worn by upwards of 400 athletes from alpine skiing to bobsledding and ski jumping. An unprecedented 62 athletes won medals while wearing the product in February. By rejoining the USSA pool, America’s top skiers and snowboarders, and up-and-coming athletes can choose to wear uvex’s latest technologies in competition.

Products like the uvex FIS-certified Race 3 Carbon helmet weighing a mere 450 grams ($900) and the lush, oversized Downhill 2000 Race Chrome goggles ($150) are becoming athlete favorites worldwide due to the lightweight design, fit and functionality according to Jeff Burkley, uvex Sales & Marketing Director.
