  • The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA) has named Trisha Worthington as executive vice president and chief development officer overseeing its U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team Foundation.
  • USSA President and CEO Tiger Shaw acknowledged private giving as one of the most important revenue growth areas in helping fund athletic programs. He is looking to Worthington’s leadership to grow private giving through innovative new programs.

QUOTES
Tiger Shaw, President and CEO, U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association
Trisha brings not only great knowledge on our organization, but insightful new ideas from her experience in growing the Park City Community Foundation. Private giving is our largest potential revenue growth area. We look for Trisha to bring leadership and innovation, creating new opportunities for fundraising that will help us enhance our athletic programs.

I also commend Ruth Flanagan for her leadership that has grown our special events and recorded the greatest success in the history of the U.S. Ski Team Gold Pass program. She also just completed a very successful Team Sochi opportunity that allowed our key donors to share in the success of our 17 Olympic medalists.

Trisha Worthington, Chief Development Officer, U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team Foundation
I have great confidence in Tiger Shaw’s leadership and vision and am proud to join the USSA team again. The past seven years with the Park City Community Foundation have allowed me to expand my philanthropic knowledge and management skills, which will help me lead and further develop the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team Foundation to a new level of funding and support for our aspiring Olympic athletes. I’ve learned that the key is to create diverse fundraising opportunities and to connect donors to programs best suited to their passion.

Ruth Flanagan, Major Gifts Manager, U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team Foundation
Trisha brings great experience and knowledge to the Foundation. I'm looking forward to continuing to work with Trisha and the Foundation to help the USSA's athletes on their journey towards being Best in the World.
