STRATTON MOUNTAIN, VT (March 20) – After a season of over 25 World Cup podiums and a pair of titles, members of the U.S. Freestyle Ski Team are now set to face each other at the Sprint U.S. Freestyle Championships at Stratton Mountain to battle it out for the title of national champion.

Coming off a season filled with 11 World Cup wins as well as the World Cup overall and moguls titles, Hannah Kearney (Norwich, VT) headlines a strong moguls team that includes  Patrick Deneen (Cle Elum, WA), and Jeremy Cota (Carrabassett Valley, ME) who took second and third in the final World Cup moguls standings, respectively.
Dylan Ferguson (Amesbury, MA), who finished the season ranked fourth in the world, and Scotty Bahrke (Tahoe City, CA), who secured his first World Cup win this season, lead a young aerial team at Stratton.

In addition to World Cup winners like Kearney and Bahrke, fresh faces will also highlight this year's U.S. Championships. Mogulist K.C. Oakley (Piedmont, CA), and aerialist Jonathan Lillis (Rochester, NY), who were recently named World Cup Rookie-of-the-Year, look to build on their breakout seasons. This is also an opportunity for young athletes from clubs around the country to vie for a spot on the U.S. Freestyle Ski Team.

This is the second year in a row that Stratton Mountain Resort will play host to the Sprint U.S. Freestyle Championships. Last year’s event was the first at Stratton since 1988. Moguls competitions will take place on World Cup run with the towering aerials jump on Lower Standard. The action kicks off on Friday, March 23. You can catch the live streaming at urtur.com.
