QUOTES
Jeremy Forster, Director of Freeskiing and Snowboarding, USSA
U.S. Snowboarding has a great history of success in snowboardcross. This group of athletes has worked hard to earn their Olympic nominations. With a great team of coaches, techs and medical staff supporting them they are fully prepared to compete in Sochi.

Peter Foley, Snowboardcross Head Coach
We have a strong team with a mix of seasoned veterans plus some new athletes who are riding very fast. Our selection process is tough – tougher than other nations. But it’s also proved to be very successful for us in the past.

Super impressive for Nate Holland to come back from surgery. He’s an amazing student of the game. He does a great job of dealing with what he’s dealt. ‘This is what I have to deal with, now let’s get to work.’ It’s awesome to see.

Lindsey winning yesterday at X Games was a real confidence booster. Not being able to compete for two years has been nerve wracking for her wondering ‘where do I sit with the competition, am I still fast?’ But she’s better than ever. It’s gone very well. There’s a lot more depth to the women’s field but she’s in a good place

All nominations are subject to approval by the U.S. Olympic Committee.
