New Global Rescue Service for USSA

PARK CITY, UT (September 22) – All U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association members in every membership category now have access to Global Rescue’s travel hotline service, providing emergency travel support and consultation worldwide. This new membership offering is an extension of the USSA’s partnership with Global Rescue. USSA members can also upgrade to a discounted full Global Rescue membership to receive advisory, field rescue and evacuation services in both medical and security emergencies. Since 2006, Global Rescue has provided dozens of USSA athletes with medical evacuation and critical emergency services around the world.

 

HIGHLIGHTS
All USSA members in every membership category now have access to the Global Rescue travel hotline service.

  • The new offering is an extension of the USSA’s partnership with Global Rescue.
  • USSA members may contact the Global Rescue travel hotline service when they are more than 100 miles from home for medical advisory services from Global Rescue’s certified paramedics and nurses.
  • USSA members and their families can contact the Global Rescue travel hotline service at 1.800.381.9754.
  • USSA members can upgrade to a discounted full Global Rescue membership at any time.

 

Global Rescue Travel Hotline Service

  • The Global Rescue travel hotline service includes:
  • Medical advisory services from Global Rescue’s team of paramedics and nurses
  • Medical referrals to local medical providers and hospitals
  • Legal referrals for local lawyers and other legal professionals
  • Emergency message relay to friends/family
  • Lost baggage search assistance
  • Lost passport and travel document assistance
  • ATM locator services
