Mancuso Wins Olsson Invitational

ARE, Sweden (April 12) - Olympic Champion Julia Mancuso won the 2014 Jon Olsson Invitational on Saturday. The event, which celebrated its 10th anniversary with this year's contest, features both the Alpine Challenge (a dual slalom event) and a men's big air contest. On the men's side, Norway's Leif Kristian Haugen took the Alpine Challenge title.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Olympic Champion Julia Mancuso won the 2014 Jon Olsson Invitational, a combination big air contest and dual alpine race, in Are, Sweden.
  • The event celebrated its tenth anniversary this year.
  • On the men's side, Norway’s Leif Kristian Haugen went home with the title in the Alpine Challenge.
  • In the big air contest, Sweden's Oscar Wester went home with the win. American halfpipe skier Torin Yater-Wallace made it through to finals.
