PARK CITY, UT (Jan. 6, 2016) – The FIS Freestyle World Cup will return to Deer Valley Resort for the Visa Freestyle International Feb. 4-6, 2016. The top moguls and aerials athletes in the world will compete under the lights on the infamous Champion mogul run and the White Owl aerials site.

Deer Valley Resort has played host to various international events over the past 17 years, including the 2002 Winter Olympic Games and the FIS Freestyle World Ski Championships in 2003 and 2011. This will be the resort’s 14th season hosting the World Cup.

“A competition under the lights with thousands of spectators cheering on the athletes, combined with Deer Valley Resort’s world class venues, makes the Visa Freestyle International an athlete and fan favorite competition on the World Cup tour,” said U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA) Vice President of Events Calum Clark. “We are looking forward to hosting the World Cup again this year as well as bringing the World Championships back to Park City in 2019.”

Guests and athletes are invited to share their experiences at the Visa Freestyle International by tagging photos and videos with #DVWorldCup. For more information on the 2016 Visa Freestyle International, please visit freestyle.usskiteam.com/events or Deer Valley Resort’s website.
