(Oct. 30, 2017) – The North Face, official U.S. Ski and Snowboard partner, and the founding partner and official uniform supplier of the U.S. Freeski Team, today unveiled the official competition uniforms to be worn by the U.S. Freeski Team at the Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018.
It will mark the second straight time The North Face has designed and manufactured the U.S. freeskiing competition uniforms for the Olympic Winter Games. The 2018 U.S.Freeski collection again provides athletes with the pinnacle of performance to help them compete at the highest level – and reflects the unique, personal style that is endemic to the culture of freeskiing. With more than 63 pieces, each athlete can customize their “look” based on their personal style and preferences.
PARK CITY, Utah (Oct. 18, 2017) – U.S. Ski & Snowboard has announced a four-stop Toyota U.S. Revolution Tour for the 2017-18 season. Copper Mountain Resort, Colorado, Waterville Valley Resort, New Hampshire, Park City Mountain, Utah and Mammoth Mountain, California will play host to the next generation of talented riders and skiers in halfpipe, slopestyle and big air.
Copper Mountain and Mammoth Mountain have been regular Rev Tour stops over the past few seasons. This will be Waterville Valley Resort’s second year on the tour and Park City Mountain is returning for the first time in 10 years.
“The resort portfolio for the Rev Tour is consistently one of the best across our events series,” said Eric Webster, U.S. Ski & Snowboard Senior Director, Events. “Copper, Waterville Valley, Mammoth and Park City have some of the best park and pipe set ups in the country and are veterans when it comes to putting on great events for these athletes.”
CARDRONA, New Zealand (Sept. 1, 2017) – Alex Ferreira (Aspen, CO) walked away from the first halfpipe competition of the season with a win at Winter Games NZ on Friday.
After qualifiers were delayed Thursday due to low visibility, the scheduled was switched up on Friday with the men competing in qualifying heats and the women going straight to finals.
CARDRONA, New Zealand (Aug. 28, 2017) – Over the weekend, Nick Goepper (Lawrenceburg, Ind.) and Maggie Voisin (Whitefish, Mont.) walked away from the first FIS World Cup slopestyle of the season with solid fourth place finishes. James Woods of Great Britain took the win for the men and Kelly Sildaru of Estonia won for the women.
Many of the world’s best freeskiers were back on snow this weekend at Cardrona Alpine Resort in New Zealand as a part of the Winter Games NZ. Held every two years, the event hosts athletes from around the world in a variety of different sports, including freeskiing, snowboarding, alpine, cross country, curling and hockey. The slopestyle athletes were up first for their first major event of the Olympic season.

But after a successful knee surgery, he has the 2018 Olympic Games firmly in his sight.
