Despite an abbreviated World Cup season in 2014-15 due to an untimely crash and broken fibula at the Kuusamo World Cup in early November, The Hoff, as he’s known throughout the cross country ski community, made an impressive comeback in the 2015-16 to reclaim his title as the top distance racer in the country. Hoffman claimed several World Cup points throughout the season, including in his best result: 19th in a 10k freestyle race in Toblach, Italy. He also had his career-best Tour de Ski, where he finished 22nd overall in the Tour standings.

      FIRST TRACKS
Hoffman remembers the long drives from his childhood home in Evergreen, CO to the ski slopes and, at the age of four, having to yell at his parents to wait for him. A cross country runner in sixth grade, Hoffman decided to try out a pair of skinny skis instead and the new sport stuck.

      OFF THE SNOW
Off the snow, Hoffman enjoys reading, being a fan of other sports and hanging out with friends and family. He also likes playing other sports including tennis, alpine skiing and soccer. He writes a blog, keeping his family, friends and fans updated on his life and he started the popular and successful Noah Hoffman Fantasy Cross Country.
