Despite an abbreviated World Cup season in 2014-15 due to an untimely crash and broken fibula at the Kuusamo World Cup in early November, The Hoff, as he’s known throughout the cross country ski community, made an impressive comeback in the 2015-16 to reclaim his title as the top distance racer in the country. Hoffman claimed several World Cup points throughout the season, including in his best result: 19th in a 10k freestyle race in Toblach, Italy.
