Bostonian Eddie Gildea cut his teeth on the icy slopes of the east coast, honing his slopestyle skills in Waterville Valley, NH as a part of the BBTS team. Gildea took those skills on the road in 2014 and won the Rocky Mountain Freeskiing Championships in Colorado. In the 2015 season, Gildea continued that progressive momentum, taking home an impressive second-place finish at the first U.S. Revolution Tour in Copper Mountain, CO. He rounded out the rest of the season with four more top-ten finishes and earned a spot of the U.S. Freeskiing Rookie squad. An unfortunate ACL tear sidelined Gildea for the 2016 season, but this young gun is just getting started. |
