Devin Logan, or “D-Lo” as her friends call her, is an all-around talented freeskier that has competitive achievements in halfpipe, slopestyle and big air. The proof is in her resume--an Olympic slopestyle silver medal, five overall AFP titles (including 2016), an X Games silver medal and multiple Dew Tour, World Cup and Grand Prix podiums.

Logan's careeer kicked off in 2010 when she hit the podium in both slopestyle and halfpipe at the FIS Junior World Champioinships and the Aspen/Snowmass Open. In 2011, Logan made her X Games debut in both halfpipe and slopestyle and then went on to earn her first U.S. halfpipe skiing title and the overall AFP crown to cap her rookie season. She fully burst onto the scene in 2012 with 12 podiums, her first X Games medal and her second AFP Overall Championship title.

After winning the season-opening New Zealand World Cup halfpipe in August 2012, Logan suffered a blown knee, which forced her to the sidelines for almost a year. Committed to rehab and her college education, she stayed busy. That included becoming an AFP and FIS certified judge, and judging some events while injured to have a better understanding of her sport. That commitment and sport knowledge paid off just in time for her to hop back on the 2013-2014 competition circuit and qualify for a spot on the inaugural U.S. Olympic Slopestyle Team. In Sochi, Devin threw one of the best runs of her life to take home the silver medal and make freeskiing history.

Logan had a successful 2015 season highlighted by two Grand Prix podiums and a win in halfpipe at the Canadian Open Championship. The 2016 season started right with a win at the New Zealand Winter Games, but then hit a rough spot when she dislocated her shoulder at the Dew Tour in early December. She was back on point by January, however, when she scored second place in halfpipe at the Mammoth stop of the U.S. Grand Prix.

FIRST TRACKS
The youngest of five kids, Logan was born in New York but grew up skiing the slopes of Mt. Snow when she moved to West Dover, VT. The East Coast ripper started skiing at the age of two and progressed through racing and moguls before moving on to big air and then halpipe and slopestyle. When she was six, she traveled around to competitions with her mom to watch her two older brothers; her mom told her if she was going to watch, she might as well be competing. Logan wanted to be an alpine racer, but her freeskiing brothers wouldn't allow it. Looking back, she's really glad that they led her to follow in their footsteps.

OFF THE SNOW
Logan is a foodie--she loves to cook and she was even featured in Good Cents Cooking magazine. Logan makes it a priority to stay active, whether it’s playing soccer or getting outdoors to try new adventures. She gets in her trampoline hours to help with her cross training and to keep her in the groove of skiing. Logan juggles her skiing career with her studies at Westminster College in Salt Lake City.
