2016 marked Andy Newell’s 15th year competing on the international stage. The veteran is known for unparalleled athleticism, sharp natural speed and an affection for skiing that lasts well beyond the last World Cup into the spring corn snow of his native Vermont. Newell has stood on three World Cup podiums, has appeared at three Olympics and been on seven World Championship teams. He trains with his longtime club at the Stratton Mountain School on the Stratton Mountain School Elite Team team.
