SkillsQuest

Are you a SkillsQuest racer? U.S. Ski Team athletes Mikaela Shiffrin and Ryan Cochran-Siegle are!

SkillsQuest is a cornerstone program of the Alpine Training System (ATS) designed to motivate and reward athletes in working toward and improving abilities in the key areas of emphasis of the ATS. As its name implies, it represents a quest, or journey, toward success in ski racing, by focusing on skills, the critical components that make up a high performing ski racer. It includes activities and competencies for skiing skills, technique and tactics, conditioning, equipment preparation, performance psychology and racer management.

Why will SkillsQuest make a difference? Check the tabs above. SkillsQuest is built with activites for each developmental phase in the ATS. Racers put their skiing skills to the test with the SkillsQuest Skiing Skills Assessment. A SkillsQuest Conditioning Assessment awaits for the off-season. It all adds up to a fun and rewarding program for junior ski racers!
