Interns/students pursuing Foundation studies work as unpaid interns get hands-on, real life training and experience. This helps interns broaden their understanding of the United States Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA) , a non-profit professional sports organization environment, techniques and strategies to maximize USSA's objective to be Best in the World.
USSA Foundation Internship
1. INTERNSHIP PROFILE
Students/Interns pursuing development studies work as unpaid Foundation interns get hands-on, real-life training and experience. This helps interns broaden their understanding of U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA) a non-profit professional sports organization's environment, techniques and strategies to maximize their working knowledge of development donor identification strategies and special events auction strategies to maximize donations.
· Develop and implement a new donor identification strategy
o Create a portfolio of prospect donors utilizing Oaktree, Wealth Engine, and other resources
o Identify an appropriate strategy to be put into practice for current and future donor research
· Assist with Special Events silent auction process
o Manage auction item documentation including solicitation and description
