Snowboardcross World Cup Criteria

Snowboardcross (9 men / 6 women)

A World Cup start allocation will use the following system to fill available quotas with athletes that meet the FIS criteria for entry (50 FIS SBX points). If an athlete declines the nomination then the next ranked athlete will be invited, within the specific criteria ranking list, until quota is filled.

Criteria #1        Top 4 men & 3 women from the 1st FIS SBX points list valid June 29, 2012

Criteria #3        2 men & 1 women (not already qualified from above criteria) may be selected based on coaches discretion.

 

 

Events:   Blue Mountain, CAN / Kongsberg, NOR / Sochi, RUS / Arosa, SUI / Sierra Nevada, SPA

 

Criteria #1        Top 4 men & 3 women from the 4th FIS SBX points list valid December 19, 2012

                       

Criteria #2        2 men & 1 woman (not already qualified from above criteria) World Cup Standings as of December 19, 2012. Must be in the top 30 of the World Cup ranking.

 

Criteria #3        Top ranked 1 man & 1 woman (not already qualified from above criteria) From 2012 Telluride World Cup.

 

 

Criteria #4        2 men & 1 woman (not already qualified from above criteria) may be selected based on coaches discretion. Discretionary positions may be considered on an event by event basis.
