Child Protection Resources

There is only one principle with regards to Child Protection:

USSA clubs provide the safest environment possible for their athletes, families and members.

NOTE: This information does not cover athletic training or competition and the protection associated with such in the various snowsports. For this information see USSA Club Logistics, USSA Coaches' Education and Certification, and USSA and FIS Training and Competition Guidelines. This section covers child and athlete protection with regards to abuse, concussions and injury, and travel.

Below are resources and information about best practices that will help USSA clubs meet this principle. For more in-depth access to these types of resources, as well as direct support, forums with other club leaders, resource sharing, potential deployment of Club Expert Consultants and other opportunities for developing your club, see USSA Club Certification.
