Wind Blows Out Zao Jumping Event

ZAO, Japan (Feb. 9) - Wind forced restart after restart Saturday in a FIS Ski Jumping World Cup in Zao. On the third try in the women's World Cup, officials gave up and postponed a restart of the first round until Sunday morning before the regularly scheduled event. Sarah Hendrickson (Park City, UT) was leading one of the rounds before it was scrubbed. Start time for the rescheduled event will be 8:30 a.m. local time Sunday, followed by the regularly scheduled World Cup still set for 10:00 a.m.
