Junior Worlds Freeskiing Team Named

PARK CITY, UT (March 7) – X Games silver medalist Devin Logan (West Dover, VT), World Cup skicross standout Brant Crossan (Steamboat Springs, CO), and Youth Olympic Games skicross athlete Lesley Wilson (Steamboat Springs, CO) headline a group of 11 athletes named to the 2012 FIS Freestyle Junior World Championships Team for U.S. Freeskiing. The Junior Worlds take place March 20–25 in Valmalenco, Italy.

HIGHLIGHTS
• Devin Logan has had a stellar season with six podiums and is currently ranked first overall in the world according to the AFP World Ranking List.
• Look out for Tyler Wallasch; he has two podium finishes on the NorAm tour this season.
• Emilia Wint has had three notable podiums this season including the VISA U.S. Grand Prix, Dew Tour and Aspen/Snowmass Open.
• Youth Olympic Games athlete Lesley Wilson has been named to the women’s U.S. Junior Worlds skicross team.
• Junior Worlds take place in Valmalenco, Italy March 20-25, 2012.
• Skicross athletes were invited based upon their finishes at the U.S. Freeskiing Hole Shot NorAm Tour and Canyons Resort Sprint U.S. Grand Prix events.
• Slopestyle athletes were invited based on finishes at the U.S. Revolution Tour and Mammoth Mountain VISA U.S. Grand Prix.
• Invited athletes must be between the ages of 14 – 19 years old
• Valmalenco, Italy is 95 miles northeast of Milan, and six miles south of the Swiss border.
