Park City, UT (June 3, 2015) – The U.S. Freestyle Ski Team has named long-time coach and veteran World Cup athlete Glenn Eddy as its C Team coach. Eddy was one of the pioneers of freestyle at Killington Mountain School, participating as a student and an athlete before making his way up the coaching ranks.

“With over 30 years of freestyle leadership and coaching experience, Glenn brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our staff,” said U.S. Freestyle Ski Team moguls head coach Matt Gnoza. “His work at the development level will be a great asset in his new position.”

A Dartmouth graduate, Eddy completed his J.D. at Boston University and then went on to coach Freestyle at Winter Park and at Carrabassett Valley Academy, before being named the Freestyle Program Director at CVA, which he ran from 1997-2007. Prior to rejoining KMS, Eddy worked in Park City, UT, coaching post-graduate competitors with their sights set on making the U.S. Ski Team. He has also served on the USSA Board of Directors and is a World Cup certified technical delegate.

“My background working with development level athletes makes me especially excited to take on the C Team responsibilities and other duties related to the USSA mogul pipeline.” Said Eddy. “The standard is set high for this team, and I look forward to working with the athletes and my fellow coaches to reach that standard.”

Eddy will assist with the transition at KMS and join the U.S. Freestyle Ski Team full time in mid-July.
