Moscow, Russia (Mar. 10) – Olympian Emily Cook (Belmont, MA), back on the World Cup after a six week absence, finished 12th in the FIS Freestyle World Cup in Moscow, Russia. Cook was the only American to make the finals where she qualified 11th. It was a Chinese sweep with Fanyu Kong the women’s winner and Zongyang Jia taking the men’s podium. The field heads to Voss Norway this weekend, site of next years's World Championships.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Emily Cook (Belmont, MA) earned 12th in her first World Cup in six weeks. She elected not to jump in the finals due to a slight injury.
- Scotty Bahrke (Tahoe City, CA) finished 14th.
- Dylan Ferguson (Amesbury, MA) ended the day 21st.
- Aerials heads to Myrkdalen-Voss, Norway Mar. 17 for the final World Cup of the season.

We’ve just come off of a much needed ten day break and we were in a really good place leading into the event in Moscow. We traveled well, prepared well, and trained well. The aerial site was in amazing condition and the weather couldn't have cooperated any better. Unfortunately, we just didn't perform well as a team today.
The World Cup Final next weekend in Voss, Norway, is important for a couple of reasons. First, it's our final World Cup of the season, and second, the event will serve as the 2013 World Championship test event – our most important competition outside of the Olympic Games. We'll be studying video and working hard to be prepared and ready to perform in Voss next week.
