The Shawnee Peak Race Team (SPRT) in Bridgton Maine is seeking a Head Coach/Program Administrator for our weekend alpine race program. Our season starts with Saturdays in late November and shifts to Saturday, Sundays and vacation periods in late December. The ideal candidate will possess a strong skiing background and desire to help young athletes achieve their maximum potential on the race course. Effective communication with athletes and parents is imperative. A USSA Level 100 or above certification is preferred. Pats Peak Ski Team, NH (PPST) is looking for coaches to work primarily with our expanding U10, U12 and U14 programs.  Come join our dedicated, experienced, and fun group of coaches.  Our season runs from Thanksgiving through the end of March, training weekends and Christmas holidays.  Additional opportunities exist for night training, Tuesday-Thursday.  Ideal candidates should have a solid ski racing foundation and a positive attitude.  Additional experience working with youth athletes a strong plus.  USSA Level 100 or higher certification a plus but not required.  And, PPST will support pursuit of initial or additional USSA certifications.  Compensation based on experience and qualifications.

The team trains primarily at Jiminy Peak - just twenty minutes from campus. The mountain has a high speed six pack chairlift, demanding terrain and a great relationship with the program. Ragged Mountain Resort in Danbury, NH is looking for a weekend Head Freestyle Coach to grow a new Freestyle program. This program will focus in all areas of USSA moguls and USASA freeride teams. This first year the Team will be limited to 6 athletes ages 10-14 with an advanced, prerequisite ability. Ragged Mountain Resort boast 250 skiable acres across two peaks, both serviced by high speed detachable lifts, including NH’s only 6-person lift, 57 trails, 17 glades, 3 terrain parks, and top to bottom beginner trails. The Parks Program has seen a recent growth in both the terrain features and layout, and the events that are being hosted. Events include USASA Slope Style, Rail Jam and Boarder Cross, plus grassroots events that are starting to build local following like Squared Up, Bump N’ Jump, and Back in the Day. The Ragged Mountain Park Team works tirelessly to build flow throughout the park featuring progressive features which have started to draw the attention of several local pros and media. Ragged Mountain Ski Team (RMST) is seeking coaches for the 2017/18 season! RMST is located in Danbury, NH within easy driving distance of Boston, MA, Manchester and Concord, NH. RMST is a United Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA) affiliated ski team in the process of seeking Gold Club Certification through USSA. RMST is a growing (34% YoY) weekend based Alpine ski program from that strives to provide the best opportunity for young athletes of all backgrounds and commitment levels, the chance to enjoy and achieve excellence in alpine skiing and racing. RMST does this by providing a professional staff with regular training on appropriate, quality terrain, in a fun, healthy, family-friendly, environment that promotes teamwork, sportsmanship and confidence. We coach our athletes to become great skiers first, with a broad fundamental skill base while fostering a love for the sport. Our goal is that RMST athletes find a lifetime of skiing and racing enjoyment. RMST is a family-focused, energetic group dedicated to alpine ski training and racing starting with the Mini Mountain Meisters, then on to the Development Team, and through U19, SR. age groups while maintaining a 6:1 Athlete to Coach training/supervision ratio. The program has seen substantial growth recently with well over 120 athletes and is in need of Certified Coaches. Kimball Union Academy in Meriden, NH is seeking a highly qualified assistant alpine ski coach.  Qualifications: Racing/Coaching experience at USSA and/or FIS level, 21 years old or older and able to drive KUA 14 passenger vans for training and competition.Available to start 2nd week of November for dryland training.   Season runs through mid-March. Early season training trip to Colorado from mid-December to before Christmas. This coach will work with athletes racing in prep school league racing program and also with athletes racing in USSA U16 and U19 competition.This posting will remain open until filled.  A background check is required. Cochran’s Ski Club, VT is seeking coaches for the 2017/18 season! Cochran’s Ski Area is the first non-profit ski area in the nation and is located in Richmond, VT.   The Ski Club is a family-focused, energetic group dedicated to alpine ski training and racing for the U8 through U19 age groups.  Much of weekday training is at Cochran’s Ski Area, with occasional larger mountain training at Stowe and other nearby areas.  Younger athletes race Northern VARA council races and older athletes compete throughout Vermont and New England. While the focus is on racing, our coaching staff strives to foster a love of skiing in the Cochran tradition.  We take great pride in consistently putting on high quality races and having fun while doing it.  

Weekend dryland training starts in September and our season runs through early April.  We have a couple of key events, including our annual November ski sale and Rope-a-thon, with which we expect coaching staff will help out.  We are seeking coaches to complement our existing staff and we have coaching needs for both younger and older (high school age) age groups.

We are currently seeking qualified full time seasonal Alpine coaches with minimum level 100 USSA Cert. to work with our U8-U12 HHRT Super Stars program and our Alpine Junior U14-U21 WJR/USSA/FIS program for the forthcoming 2107/18 season. HHRT competes from the Region 2 Central division, in USSA/FIS and WJR ( Wisconsin Junior Racing league ) races.
