After two very successful years on the NorAm tour, New Jersey's Mike Rossi has a break out 2013 season. The moment came at beloved Deer Valley, where he landed a third place finish, the first World Cup podium of his young career. Rossi finished the season with five top-15 results. It was no surprise that 2014 was just as successful, as Rossi earned three top-ten finishes, including a sixth place in Lake Placid and then a bronze at U.S. Championships.

Rossi continued his success in the 2015 season, posting four top-ten World Cup finishes and an eight place at the 2015 FIS Freestyle Work Ski Championships in Kreischberg, Austria. He joined his teammates on the podium at World Cup finals, celebrating their aqusition of the Nations Cup.

      FIRST TRACKS
Rossi learned to ski when he was four, but never skied that much until he was recruited for aerials. “I tried a water ramp camp in Park City and ended up being pretty good at the sport,” he says. “I trained that summer for a few days and the next summer I moved to Park City to continue the sport. I've been on my way ever since.”

      OFF THE SNOW
Rossi’s off snow hobbies include writing music, recording songs and playing guitar.
