Beginning with his win at the prestigious Red Bull Double Pipe in 2015, Chase Josey has been on the come up. After proving his all-around riding skill at the Double Pipe event, Josey had an impressive 2016 season as well, landing on the podium in second at the Mammoth Mountain Grand Prix, and then earning a bronze medal at the inaugural X Games Oslo.

Josey is an Idaho native that grew up on the slopes of Sun Valley. He has a technical bag of tricks that sets him apart from the field, including a switch double crippler, switch Michalchuk and switch backside 900.

      FIRST TRACKS
Josey remembers, “My dad taught me to snowboard when I was five years old. He had just learned a couple years before, but must of made it look really cool because I wanted a go at it. After we went up on Dollar Mountain and I made my first turns, there was no looking back.”

      OFF THE SNOW
When not riding, Josey hanging out with friends and enjoying the mountain lifestyle--camping, fishing, mountain biking, or skateboarding.
