A series of knee injuries left Caldwell off the competition circuit for over two years, but that hasn't stopped her from becoming an unstoppable force in women's aerials. Caldwell went on to become the first U.S. woman to perform a full, full, full and landed herself a 10th at the 2014 Sochi Olympic Winter Games. The momentum continued to flow for Caldwell in the 2015 season. On home snow at Deer Valley, Caldwell secured her first World Cup win since 2011 with two high degree of difficuly triples. At 2015 World Cup finals in Minsk, Belarus, Caldwell was once again in the top podium spot, ending her season ranked number two in the aerials World Cup standings. 2016 was Caldwell's best season yet. With four podiums on the World Cup, she took home the women's aerials title and capped off her season with her third career national title. Caldwell continued to add to her impressive resume in 2017 with a gold medal at the FIS Freestyle World Championships, where she became the first woman to cleanly land The Daddy - a full, double full, full.
