BIOGRAPHY
Anders Johnson earned a spot on the 2006 Olympic team when he was only 16 years old. Since then, he's earned four U.S. titles, been a part of seven Junior World Championships teams and two World Chapionships teams. He also competed in his second Olympics in 2010, which came after an incredible recovery from a knee injury earlier in the same season. In late 2013 he took second in the Olympic trials at Utah Olympic Park, proving that he's ready to jump in Sochi.

Johnson, the son of former U.S. Ski Team coach Alan Johnson, was destined to get into jumping with his sister Alissa. She's vying for a spot on the first-ever women's U.S. Olympic team for ski jumping. He started jumping at age three in Lake Placid, NY, where he snuck onto the K-10 meter jump behind his sister and took his first jump without a helmet. Instead of being angry, his dad gave him a helmet and told him to try it again. His mom, Chris is a former tennis athlete from Bermuda.
