After earning his first career World Cup podium at the Rosa Khutor Olympic test event (second) in 2013, Alex Deibold scored a bronze medal at his first Olympic appearance at Sochi in 2014. Deibold has two more World Cup podium finishes: third at Lake Louise in 2013 and second at La Molina in 2015. According to the man himself, you ride because "snowboarding is fun—and when you compete, you're pushed to improve whether you want to or not." A member of the U.S. Snowboarding snowboardcross team since 2004, Deibold is gearing up to qualify for his second Olympic team--the one headed to Pyeongchang in 2018. FIRST TRACKS OFF THE SNOW
