Level 100 Alpine ClinicsThis course is designed to be the first step in the formal education process for alpine ski coaches, covering the fundamentals of alpine skiing at the core, while also introducing the topics of pedagogy, coaching ethics, planning, alpine competition rules, and the Alpine Training System and long-term athlete development. The course is held over two days, with a skiing and classroom component. It is recommended that coaches take this course before or within their first year of coaching, but the content presented is of value for a coach with several years of experience as well. At the conclusion of the course, the participants will have the skills to be able to
PRICE: $160 (U.S. Ski & Snowboard Memebers Only). Includes on-snow and classroom clinic and participant materials (Level 100 Coach Manual, and more) as well as Level 100 on-line exam. Lift tickets additional (most resorts offer discounted tickets for participants). Does not include First Aid or CPR course or certification costs.
