COACHING CERTIFICATION STANDARDS FOR PODIUM CLUBS 

(Note: As upper levels of certification are developed in certain sports, these standards will be adjusted accordingly.) 

ALPINE 

Gold/Silver: 

• Program Director and Head Coach: Level 300 minimum with action plan to attain Level 400 before next renewal

• U class head coaches/lead coaches: Level 200 minimum with action plan to attain Level 300 before next renewal

• Action plan for all staff to attain Level 100 certification within first year of coaching

  Bronze: 

• Program Director and Head Coach: Level 300 minimum

• U class head coaches/lead coaches: Level 200 minimum

• Action plan for all staff to attain Level 100 within first two years of coaching

   

  NORDIC 

  Gold/Silver: 

• Program Director and Head Coach: Level 100 minimum with action plan to attain Level 200 before next renewal

• Action plan for all staff to complete Level 100 training within first two years of coaching

  Bronze: 

• Program Director and Head Coach: Level 100 minimum

   

  FREESTYLE 

  Gold/Silver: 

• Program Director, Head Coach and Lead Coaches: Level 200 minimum

• Action plan for all staff to attain Level 100 within first year of coaching

  Bronze: 

• Program Director and Head Coach: Level 200 minimum

   

  SNOWBOARDING/FREESKIING* 

  Gold/Silver: 

• Program Director and Head Coach: Level 300 minimum

• Lead coaches: Level 200 minimum

• Action plan for all staff Level 100 within first year of coaching

  Bronze: 

• Program Director and Head Coach: Level 200 minimum with an action plan to attain Level 300 before next renewal

• Action plan for all coaches to attain Level 100 certification within first two years of coaching
